Children who are deaf or have a speech challenge cannot speak the same language as other children. They learn sign language, but the number of people who can communicate with these children is limited. By learning sign language, you can communicate with hearing impaired children.

Study and learn the attached sign language alphabet and get your friends to do the same. Ask your school, YMCA, church or library to sponsor classes in sign language that you and your friends can attend.
