Search Institute
Search Institute is a national leader in generating cutting-edge ideas, research, and strategies for growing healthy, thriving children and adolescents. In addition to ongoing research on human development and social change, Search Institute provides the tools, strategies, and strategic alliances that are needed to motivate and equip individuals and organizations to commit to asset building.

At the heart of the institute's work is the framework of 40 Developmental Assets, which identifies basic building blocks of healthy development for children and youth. Search Institute believes that asset building begins at home and that family volunteering is a great way to build Developmental Assets. For more information and resources visit Search Institute/Families.

MVParents
MVParents™ is a campaign that gives parents tools and information to help them be the “most valuable players” in their children’s lives. The campaign focuses on the essential building blocks of healthy development for children, called Developmental Assets™. Studies have shown that the more of these assets children have in their lives, the more likely they are to be healthy and balanced - and the less likely they are to become involved in high-risk behaviors.

Search Institute, a national organization that promotes healthy children and communities; PLAYERS INC; and Coors Brewing Company created MVParents. You can learn more about MVParents on MVParents.com, where you can also sign up for a weekly email newsletter called Everyday Parenting Ideas.
